Our Story

We are a group of globally based students who first met through the Wharton Global Youth Essentials of Finance program, where we discovered a shared interest in addressing one of the most pressing gaps in education today: the lack of practical financial and economic literacy among young people. Despite living in an increasingly interconnected and financially complex world, few students are ever taught the skills needed to make informed financial decisions or to understand the economic forces shaping their lives.

Motivated by this realization, we founded One World FBL to make finance and economics approachable, engaging, and relevant to learners of all backgrounds. Our mission is to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application through concise, clearly written lessons that explain core financial principles, economic systems, and current issues in accessible terms. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to understand how money works, how markets function, and how these forces influence both personal and global outcomes.
