My Story

My name is Santiago Ramirez, and I am a senior in high school living in the Dominican Republic. Since I was a child, I have always felt a strong calling to help others—whether by donating food, clothes, or toys, giving back has always been a core part of who I am. When I moved from Mexico to the Dominican Republic at the age of 10, my perspective on economies and the world expanded. I witnessed firsthand how economic disparities shape communities, and this fueled my passion for creating change. Now, with the opportunities I have, I am eager to embark on a financial journey that will allow me to help address the inequalities in my country. Contributing to One World FBL is another important step toward fulfilling my dream of making a lasting impact.
