My Story

Hello! My name is Felipe Kaplan, and I’m a junior at the American School of Rio de Janeiro. I’m passionate about finance, economics, and mathematics. I serve as President and Founder of the Finance, Economics,s and Business Club, where I lead initiatives on investing, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, and organize guest speaker events with professionals from the field. I am also the President of my school’s Math Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta. In addition, I founded a math tutoring project for underserved students in Rocinha, one of the largest favelas in Brazil, aiming to reduce educational inequality through peer-led learning. I’m extremely happy to have co-founded OneWorld FBL with my worldwide peers and hope to create meaningful international impact.
